

The most popular café in Saudi Arabia
In 2018, the founders of Halfmillion Café started their dream with an investment of 500,000 Saudi Riyals, which also inspired the name 1/2M.
The current website is outdated and no longer meets modern user expectations. A redesigned website can both improve the user experience and strengthen the brand.
The challenge was to design a user-friendly, modern interface that reinforces the identity of Halfmillion Café and exceeds the expectations of its audience.


Information Architecture
The first step in the redesign was establishing the new information architecture.

Structure and navigation: The new site has a clear layout, allowing users to easily navigate through sections such as locations and popular products.

New products and bestsellers: I added a “bestseller” section that visually showcases the products and helps customers place orders quickly.

Candidate Space
The current website makes job searching unclear. With 45 locations, region-based searching is essential. A region filter helps candidates quickly find relevant vacancies, increasing the likelihood of applications.
A dedicated “Candidate Space” demonstrates HalfM’s serious approach to recruitment and offers features such as CV uploads, application status tracking, and updating personal details, making the process more efficient and more personal.



Design System
The brand colors are beautiful and immediately eye-catching, but as a designer I believe they are better suited for marketing and social media. For the website, it is important that everything remains highly readable and visually calm for the eyes.
That’s why I chose darker shades of the brand colors, making the content clearer and the overall user experience more pleasant.
